One of many reasons that have resulted in the super success of the film 3 Idiots has been its unique marketing strategies. Talking about marketing, how can we forget the brand of scooter which, Kareena rides in the film. The actress has now been signed up the brand ambassador for the same.
We are indeed talking about Mahindra’s new two wheeler- ‘Power Scooter’, of which Kareena has been chosen as the brand ambassador. Despite being extremely unwell since returning from her Ra.1 shoot in Goa, Kareena Kapoor, ever the devoted girlfriend, will accompany her beau Saif Ali Khan, to the Padma Shri awards in Delhi.
Says a source close to Kareena, "It was very hot in Goa and the humidity, heat and change of weather when she returned to Mumbai combined with exhaustion took its toll on Bebo. She refused to rest after returning to the city and continued to shoot for her endorsements. The actress finally collapsed on Sunday night and a doctor was called in."
The source adds that Kareena has now been advised complete bed rest for the next couple of days. "She joins the Golmaal 3 cast in Goa on April 9.
And though she hasn't recovered completely, she will be travelling to Delhi today evening with Saif to see him receiving the Padmashri from the President of India.
Initially, Bebo wasn't sure if she would be able to make it as she's still very weak and is down with the flu but when Saif requested her to come along, she couldn't refuse. Saif's parents (Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore) are out of town and there's no way Kareena would have let Saif attend the awards alone. She's going there to give him moral support."
Bebo will wear...
Kareena Kapoor will be wearing a Manish Malhotra creation tonight. Says Manish, "Since it's a formal occasion, Bebo will be wearing an off-white coloured saree or churidar with dull gold and a touch of red. It's more textured than blingy. Kareena will be wearing her signature style tonight."

So what if Kareena Kapoor was not a part of Saif Ali Khan’s home production Love Aaj Kal. The actress was a tad disappointed. But now she is all set to get back at Deepika Padukone by performing live on the songs of Love Aaj Kal along with beau Saif Ali Khan at an award function to be held on Sunday in Mumbai.
It may be recalled that director Imitaz Ali did not want Kareena for Love Aaj Kal because he felt that she was not the right choice for the role and he chose Deepika over Kareena. Though Saif and Kareena have done couple of films in past and are also seeing each other for quite a long time now, they have not performed live so far.
Now Kareena and Saif are all set to perform and that too on the hit numbers of his home-production Love Aaj Kal. Source close to the actors reveal, “The couple is super excited as they are going to perform live on stage together for the first time. What is more interesting is that they will be performing on the hit numbers of Love Aaj Kal.” Kareena finally grooves to the beats of Love Aaj Kal.

Love birds Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are always in the media glare regarding the speculation on when are they tying the knot. Ever since the two went public with their affair Saifeena have been hounded by the paparazzi on their plans regarding marriage. Apparently, fanning the rumors of an early wedding, Saif’s mom Sharmila Tagore speaking tothe media said, “I don’t have any objection to their marriage and they will soon wed.”
Sending media into frenzy, this affirmation, came from Sharmila on the occasion of the Censor Board of Film Certification meeting which was held at Jodhpur, India. Although, the couple has said time-and-again that they don’t have any intention of getting married soon, as their career is much more important than the marriage. However, Sharmila Tagore’s statement clearly indicates that something is surely brewing between the lovey-dovey couple and they might have changed their mind and decided to tie the knot.
Currently, Saif and Kareena are doing great professionally and have big projects in their kitty; therefore marriage is still a long shot, but mother-in-law Sharmila seems to believe otherwise!

It is rare to find Kareena Kapoor in a saree other than her favourite designer Manish Malhotra’s sarees. Recently at a promotion meet in Bhopal Kareena was spotted wearing a beautiful black Chanderi saree. Like her in the beautiful saree?
Aamir recently gifted a Rs. 25, 000 handloom saree to Kareena Kapoor made by handloom workers of Chanderi village in Madhya Pradesh. Kareena was overwhelmed by the present.
Kareena was asked to fly down to Madhya Pradesh for two days. She had to travel for 14 hours to reach Chanderi. All this while, she didn’t know where they were going and all she knew was that they had to meet Aamir. So when she received the black and gold traditional saree, like the ones the weavers used to make for the nawabs, she was overjoyed.
According to Kareena, Aamir Khan wanted her to have the saree because she is a style icon and she should promote the work of these handloom industries. The ancestors of the workers used to work for royal families. Kareena and Aamir went to the workers’ homes, interacted with them and saw that they live in miserable conditions and make only about Rs. 50 while the designers borrow their work and sell it for Rs. 30-40,000. Aamir has invited some of the workers to the premiere of 3 Idiots.
