Kareena Kapoor back at the top!

Talented actress Kareena Kapoor can put the stunning failure of her earlier release this year, Tashan, behind her, going by the thumping response to Golmaal Returns in which she plays a prominent role.

Though Golmaal Retruns has an ensemble cast, the film producers featured Kareena prominently in its promotional campaign with a view of leveraging her considerable fan base and the strategy has paid off!

A trade analyst reveals, "Golmaal Returns has recorded the biggest opening ever and the fact that Kareena was centrestage in its publicity has proved that she is the film's biggest draw."

The opening for the first day was impressive at 95-100%. The film has matched historic openers like Om Shanti Om and Singh Is Kinng on day one in terms of capacity though the film has been released on a lesser volume of shows than those films.

It's the best ever opening that Kareena has ever had and it's time for Bebo to celebrate.
