Bebo uncomfortable with saifu's Kids

Latest tabloid reports suggest that even after being in a steady relationship with Saif for quite some time now, Kareena still does not feel comfortable in the presence of Saif’s children.

So whenever Saif’s children Sara and Ibrahim, who are from his first wife actress Amrita Singh, come over to spend some time with their father, Kareena quietly moves to her house in Khar.

In fact one report suggested that even the kids, who are in their teens, do not feel comfortable around Bebo.

However, sources close to the actress tell a different story; that Bebo understands that Saif’s children are teenagers and since they come only for weekly visits they need to spend quality time with their father alone.

Everyone in the industry knows that Kareena lives with Saif at his house and visits her own house only when need arises.

Saif-Kareena marriedsecretly?

Recently, tabloids reported that Bollywood’s hottest couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have gotten married in a secret ceremony at Saif’s residence on Feb. 6 in the presence of a maulvi.

According to tabloid sources, even their families have no clue about their alleged marriage.

Obviously, both are boiling with anger ever since reports started floating in the industry. A very furious Kareena reacted to the news, "Enough is enough, please leave us alone. We don't have any plans of getting married till the next five years."

Nawab Saif also seemed shocked when people flooded him with queries over his secret marriage with Kareena.

Saif’s parents approve of him marrying Kareena

Earlier it had been reported that Saif’s mother and yesteryear actress Sharmila Tagore strongly favors early marriage between Saif and Kareena.

Saif’s father Nawab Ali Khan Pataudi had even invited the couple at his family’s Haveli in Haryana. Apparently, Kareena has been the first among Saif’s girlfriends to be invited at Pataudis family function at their ancestral house.

But Saif and Kareena are in no hurry to make the big decision.

Kareena saif to spent Valentine at Europe

Bollywood's hottest jodi Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are heading to Europe to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Few reports have claimed that Bebo has some commercial shoot in Paris, from there she will fly to an European destination to join Chote Nawab for V-Day celebration.

Kareena Saif to perform live for the 1st time

So what if Kareena Kapoor was not a part of Saif Ali Khan’s home production Love Aaj Kal. The actress was a tad disappointed. But now she is all set to get back at Deepika Padukone by performing live on the songs of Love Aaj Kal along with beau Saif Ali Khan at an award function to be held on Sunday in Mumbai.

It may be recalled that director Imitaz Ali did not want Kareena for Love Aaj Kal because he felt that she was not the right choice for the role and he chose Deepika over Kareena. Though Saif and Kareena have done couple of films in past and are also seeing each other for quite a long time now, they have not performed live so far.

Now Kareena and Saif are all set to perform and that too on the hit numbers of his home-production Love Aaj Kal. Source close to the actors reveal, “The couple is super excited as they are going to perform live on stage together for the first time. What is more interesting is that they will be performing on the hit numbers of Love Aaj Kal.” Kareena finally grooves to the beats of Love Aaj Kal.

Kareena Saifu lip lock in Kurbaan

Well this is what director Rensil D’Silva has to say about the passionate kiss between real life couple Saif and Kareena in his flick Kurbaan.

Apparently, the couple has created a record in Bollywood, for the longest onscreen smooch in their flick Kurbaan. And according to director Rensil D’Silva Saif-Bebo’s kiss will bring sex-starved audience to the theatres.

Rensil says, “A certain section of the sex-starved audience might just comet to the theatres just to see Saif and Kareena in be.”

Now that’s a strange kind of notion, anyways, folks would you go and watch Kurbaan in a theater just for Saif-Bebo’s passionate smooch?

Bebo Goes Backless in "kurbaan".

Kurbaan is a forthcoming Indian Bollywood film directed by Rensil D’Silva and produced by Karan Johar. Name of the movie keeps changing at finally they selected Kurbaan as the title. Kareena Kapoor Judges Dance Premier League!

Dance Premier League a unique dance format that is soon to go on air on Sony Entertainment Television has been creating news all through its audition phases. At the on-going auditions of Dance Premier League, Bebo was seen cheering the Mumbai aspirants amidst lots of fun, frolic and fanfare. Kareena came to support and encourage the West Zone team on Dance Premier League and promote her film ‘Main Aurr Mrs Khanna’.

When we asked her about what does she expect on the show, she said, "I enjoy dance reality shows to others, and I hope a lot of people will dance to my tunes! It’s a great platform for young talent to showcase their dancing skills."

Wish 29th Happy Birthday to Kareena Kapoor.

Bollywood's actress Kareena Kapoor, who turns 29 on September 21st, will be having a hectic schedule as the shoot for "3 Idiots" with Aamir Khan is on its way to start, so poor Saif Ali Khan will have to rework on whatever surprise he had in mind for his loving girlfriend.

Kareena had actually planned to rejoice her birthday moments with beau Saif, mom Babita, sis Karizma and niece Samaira. But heartbreak took place. The shoot of Aamir's movie is said to be beginning just few days before Kareena's B'day.

Aamir's wife Kiran Rao suffered a miscarriage earlier this month, and that Aamir promised her that he would take time off from 3 Idiots' schedule to help her to restore her form from disaster.

But Aamir was unaware when he made that emotional commitment was that he had given dates to Kareena to shoot musical number in Mumbai during the very same period. Hesitantly, he called up his co-star and asked if she would reorganize her own diary to lodge him at another time. And Kareena agreed, at the cost of her own birthday plans, because she realized how big Kiran's trauma was.

Now Kareena and Aamir will shoot the song from September 25 to October 2 in Mumbai.

'Qurbaan' co-producers failed to pay crew

A Melbourne film production company, co-producer of the Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer 'Qurbaan', has reportedly failed to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to the production crew.

Workers and contractors on the movie have taken legal action against Swish Films, which was producing the film with the Indian company Dharma Productions in the American city of Philadelphia.

The director of the film Rensil D'Silva has described the movie as 'a romantic thriller set against the backdrop of global terrorism.’

Swish Films even produced the Bollywood film 'Main Aur Mrs Khanna', also starring Kapoor, in Melbourne last year.

According to a March report in the Philadelphia Daily News, hundreds of workers, including a stuntman, caterers, a car dealer and the Philadelphia Boys Choir, had been left unpaid and bewildered when 500,000 dollars worth of cheques issued by Swish allegedly bounced.

Saif Kareena Says Jai Ho !!!

This Independence Day, they aren’t here — a prior commitment will see them, along with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif among others, shaking hands, signing autographs and posing for pictures with 50,000 Indians in Chicago. A Meet-and-Greet with Bollywood’s big stars has been organised as an Independence Day treat for Indian fans in the US today and tomorrow, in Chicago and Houston respectively.

Tomorrow is Saif’s birthday... so it will be a double whammy for old fans and new of the actor-producer who is riding a big high with the super success of his first home production. Before they flew to the US on Thursday night, Bollywood’s most photogenic and happening couple waved the flag and said “Jai ho!” to DT readers. They’d have loved to be here today, of course — swine flu notwithstanding, but the fans abroad have been waiting from ever since...

Kareena is used to the flag hoisting scene. As a child, she would hold elder sis Karisma Kapoor’s hand and toddle off to the RK Studios in Chembur in Mumbai where grandfather Raj Kapoor had a ceremony every Independence Day for the children in the family. Holi, rang barse and bhang, Rajji had for the elders! Then, when Karisma entered Bollywood and the sisters stayed with their mother in Lokhandwala, as a girl of nine or ten she used to attend the housing society’s Independence Day functions. But for the last five years, now, she has been out of the country on August 15. And while the patriotic surge is there, the ears strain to catch Jana Gana Mana wherever she is, it’s not the same as being in India on Independence Day.

Saif, on the other hand, remembers early Independence Days spent at the family’s royal seat in Pataudi, Bhopal, where they had their own flag and coat of arms. His father, Mansoor Ali Khan, was the ninth and last Nawab of Pataudi before Indira Gandhi abolished royal entitlements in 1971 by an amendment to the Constitution. The royal flag came down (he remembers it fluttering from his grandmother’s car) and the Indian tricolour came up at Pataudi. Today, despite the royal blood, and over Kareena’s protests that he sometimes acts like a little angrez, MAK Pataudi’s only son is as Indian is his Punjabi lady love. Kareena Kapoor: Critics will love me in Kurbaan

Kareena has played a prostitute, a bubbly girl-next-door and the ultimate glamour queen in her almost decade-long career, but Kareena Kapoor says “Kurbaan” has given her the opportunity to sink her teeth into one of the best roles in her career.

“I am so confident that in ‘Kurbaan’, audiences will take to my character in a big way,” said Kareena, who looks forward to playing a variety of roles across different genres of films.

“Especially after ‘Kambakkht Ishq’, they would see a different me in the film,” Kareena told IANS.

A Karan Johar production, “Kurbaan” is directed by first time director Rensil D’Silva and has terrorism as its background.

“The girl’s role is very strong in ‘Kurbaan’ and I have worked really hard on my performance. I’m expecting a lot from the film,” said the actress, who has won critical acclaim for her performance in “Dev” and “Omkara”.

Kareena is paired with boyfriend Saif Ali Khan in “Kurbaan”, which also stars Vivek Oberoi, Dia Mirza, Kirron Kher and Om Puri in principal roles.

The actress says she is once again expecting accolades from critics for her performance in the film.

“Well frankly, this is one film where I am expecting both box-office success and huge critical acclaim. The film is extremely well made and, to add to that, quite topical,” she said confidently.

With music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Salim-Sulaiman, “Kurbaan” is aiming for a November release.

For Kareena, 2009 would be an eventful year as it would also see the release of Rajkumar Hirani’s “3 Idiots”, where she is paired opposite Aamir Khan, and debutant director Prem R. Soni’s “Main Aur Mrs. Khanna” with Salman Khan.

After being in the industry for close to a decade, doesn’t she aspire for more awards?

“See, ever since I began my career, I have always maintained that I want to be a star actress. I should give the kind of confidence to filmmakers that I can carry off any role confidently. Whether it is a Geet (’Jab We Met’) or a Dolly (’Omkara’), Simrita (’Kambakkht Ishq’) or the character I play in ‘Kurbaan’ - I am mixing it up all.

“For me, work is like a passion and when I do a film, I don’t really think of commercial gains or awards. What is most important for me is to be engaged in some quality stuff. I sign a film because I like to enact the character that I have been offered. If box office success and awards come then, well, it’s great,” she said.

Saif, Kareena spend a day with his parents

With the stress of his first production “Love Aaj Kal” finally over and elated with the positive audience response, Saif Ali Khan decided to unwind by spending time with his parents. And girlfriend Kareena Kapoor joined in, making it a real cosy affair.

“I was a little under the weather on Friday (August 1) and very anxious about how ‘Love Aaj Kal’ will be received. But now I’m fine. Yes, Kareena and I were chilling out with abba (Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi) and amma (Sharmila Tagore) all day on Friday,” Saif told IANS.

Saif flew into Delhi for a special screening of “Love Aaj Kal” on Thursday. After the event, rest of the “Love Aaj Kal” cast and crew flew back – director Imtiaz Ali to Mumbai, Deepika Padukone to London, but Saif stayed back.

The film released on Friday and got an overwhelming response.

“The reports coming in about ‘Love Aaj Kal’ are very encouraging. Both the reviews and the box office collections have been very generous. I couldn’t have hoped for a better start as a producer,” said the actor

According to a source, “It was just Saif, Kareena and his parents bonding the whole day far away from any intrusion. Not even their cell phones were allowed.

“It was one of the most joyful family reunions and Saif came out of the day totally rejuvenated and more convinced than ever that Kareena is indeed the Chhoti Begum of the Pataudi family.”

Saif-Kareena-Shahid love triangle on bollywood

If the latest news is to be believed, the infamous Bollywood love triangle involving Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor will be made into a film. It is said that Spectra Multimedia Films is producing a film tentatively titled The Secret Life of Karina based on the lives of Saif, Kareena and Shahid.


The makers of the film claimed that the film would be made on Rs.20 crores budget. It is inspired by the real life love story of Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, and would be based mostly on the media reports. It will also include the infamous MMS clip showing Shahid and Kareena kissing. Another incident where Kareena snubbed Saif's sister Soha Ali Khan will be there too.


The makers of the film have cleverly twisted the names of the protagonists as Karina, Saifee and Shaheed to avoid controversies. They also revealed that the Saifee's character in the film would be a mix of Salman Khan and Saif's personalities, with traces of Salman's violent love stories with his ex-girlfriends Somi Ali and Aishwarya Rai (now Aishwarya Bachchan).

The cast of the film is yet to be finalised though its makers are ready to start shooting next month. Actress Shradha Sharma was approached for the role but she turned it down. She said that she doesn't want to offend Kareena Kapoor. Moreover, she is uncomfortable with a particular scene where Shaheed has to cut his wrists for the actress.

However, it looks unlikely that the proposed film The Secret Life of Karina will ever see the light of the day, as making plots out of big stars' real life incidents means inviting trouble.

Salman’s spokesperson Alok Mathur said that the production house would get into real trouble if they openly claim that the character is that of Salman. He added that they are using Salman's name to get publicity. Shahid Kapoor’s spokesperson also said that the news hasn't reached Shahid. He added that he would not be bothered by the news, as all they (producers) want is nothing publicity. However, Saif and Kareena were not available for comment.

It may be recalled that Shahid-Kareena were one of the most-talked-about couples in Bollywood at one point of time. They made their affair public from the very start and didn't shy away from showing their affection even in public, which often landed them in trouble. They went on steadily until Saif entered Kareena's life.

What followed was Kareena dumping Shahid, her boyfriend of over four years, for Saif. She fell in love with Saif while shooting for Tashan. Since then, Shahid has been linked with many actresses including Vidya Balan, Amrita Rao and Priyanka Chopra but he has not made any of his relationships public.

Well, Saif-Katrina-Shahid love triangle would surely make a good film, provided the makers of the film get permission from the persons concerned.

Kareena fights Saif Ali Khan

Get ready for some great action. Kareena Kapoor is all set to fight Saif Ali Khan, in their next film Agent Vinod. The actress who has never worked on an action film was thrilled to sport this action role on screen.

Kareena who was signed by Saif’ home production Illuminati films for Agent Vinod will have to undergo some rigorous training before shooting for the fight sequences. Kareena plays an under cover agent from some other country; the character will have shades of Mala Sinha’s role in Aankhen and Rehana Sultan in 1977 film Agent Vinod. However the director of the film Sriram Raghavan denies this.

After taking the Brangelina [Brad Pitt- Angelina Jolie] way in calling themselves Saifeena, it would be great to see our own versions of Mr & Mrs Smith.

Star cast: Will Saif-Kareena or Shahid-Vidya last longer?

It was a thing of the past when Kareena and Shahid were caught kissing when a paparozzo dude shot their video. However the kissing is now replaced by the tattoo love, seen on Saif’s hands.

Kareena dumped Shahid, and much before the new love story caught people’s attention, it made rockstar Saif etch this love story forever on his own left hand.

However the question, which couple is in for celebration and which for a heart brake?

Bejan Daruwala, the famous astrologer has all the answers. "Saif is very handsome and he's conscious of his long nose,’ says he. However, while most of us would think that Saif’s dashing looks are likely to prompt Kareena to do something stupid while she is madly in love, the astrologer has a different story to tell. "The problem is that people who are born in September are highly intelligent,” says Bejan Daruwala.

So it is up to Saif to do all those silly things people do, when they're in love. If the tattoo wasn’t getting enough attention, Saif may do something more to prove his love.

Amidst all these antics the one question for Mr Daruwala is whether this relationship will last?

"I don’t know about this relationship lasting. But while it does, it will be a lot of fun." 2009 is the deciding factor and if they can get through, they will make it,” says Bejan Daruwala.

While Saif and Kareena seem to be having a ball, Shahid seems to be drowned in gloom. However, it seems that love soon blew him over in the form of Vidya Balan.

While speculation continues about Shahid-Vidya relationship, Bejan Daruwala has the final word and says, “Shahid and Vidya have a better chance".
